Shaiji's Vision

Karunya Shaiji's Foundation traces its beginnings to one woman's deeply personal experience. When Shaiji faced her own battle with cancer, she witnessed first-hand how isolating that journey can be, not just for the patient, but for the entire family around them.

"I want to build a movement that stands with people in their most difficult moments."

From that experience, a vision quietly took shape within her. She believed that no family should have to walk this path alone, and that real, sustained support in health, education, and housing could change the course of lives forever.

To many, it seemed an ambitious dream. But for Shaiji, someone who had lived through the rawest moments of life, giving strength to others was not just an idea. It was a responsibility. Those words, and that unwavering vision, inspired her husband Sheron to carry it forward and give birth to what is today Karunya Shaiji's Foundation.
